The Technical Assistance Center (TAC) of LEARN provides engineering assistance to its member institutes. The main objective of this service is to help the member institutes that are not qualified to practically implement their services. Therefore, LEARN has started this remote engineering assistance service, namely LEARN TAC to facilitate its members.
In this aspect, LEARN will not provide direct assistance to the end users (students/staff). Each institute is expected to have a dedicated technical person who can handle issues related to their end users. This assistance will be provided by the LEARN for the main technical staff who are directly engaged in the network operation of the institute. The person should be in a rank of Computer Application Assistance or in a higher caliber.
All annually subscribed LEARN-connected members are eligible in getting the TAC services as a value-added provision. Members should appoint an appropriate technical personal from their institute who is actively involved in network maintenance and troubleshooting to work together with LEARN TAC staff.
