LEARN Moodle as a Service is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering within the LEARN Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) core hosted service portfolio. This service is provided to LEARN member institutions at no additional cost.

The platform offers a scalable, highly available, and dedicated containerized Moodle instance for each faculty or institution, enabling efficient course management and online learning delivery.

LEARN FOSS services can be accessed free of data charges through several local Internet Service Providers (ISPs) when using personal Internet connections. These services are provided on a best-effort basis by the LEARN core engineering team and are not covered by a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Requesting a Moodle Instance

Faculties/Institutions wishing to obtain a Moodle instance may submit a request via email to foss-team at learn.ac.lk.
